The municipality launches the initiative that places 36 bicycles at its citizens’ disposal to move in town.

This initiative, launched in the framework of the environmental campaign called “PrendiAMO la bicicletta – Piccoli gesti d’amore quotidiano per l’aria che respiri” (“Let us LOVE & live the bicycle – Great little ordinary love gestures for breathing better air”), was supported by the Municipal Administration for the promotion of sustainable urban mobility.


The 36 bicycles are placed on 9 racks in different places in town:

1. Porta Cadore, davanti alla scuola Manzoni;
2. In Via Petrarca, near the junction with Piazza Foro Boario and the passageway for bicycles and pedestrians.
3. In viale Trento e Trieste, nel piazzale della Stazione Ferroviaria;
4. In Piazza Medaglie d’Oro, close to the entrance of the multistorey car park.
5. In Piazza Giovanni Paolo II in the neighbourhood of Ceneda.
6. In the area of Soffratta, in the parking area located at the crossroads between Via Foscolo and Via Leopardi.
7. In the neighbourhood of Meschio, along the road going to Cansiglio, close to the little pedestrian bridge leading to the cycle paths.
8. In Via Isonzo in the neighbourhood of San Giacomo.
9. parco Valentino - Cozzuolo.

An apposite key will be necessary to use the bicycles, in order to unlock the bicycle from the rack. The key is numbered and personal and can be obtained by applying to the PRO LOCO of VITTORIO VENETO and paying a fee of 7.00 €. It can be used with all the bicycles in town and also in the other towns that have joined the initiative “C’entro in bici”.
